By Type, Date, Status or Recently Created

The simplest way to view stories is by type, date created, status or recently created, as explained below:

  • Type
    • The story type refers to the class in which the story belongs. Story types are essentially used to allow you to categorise stories for easy retrieval, and also to allow you to structure and organise the Connect story archive
  • Date created
    • When a story is added, the date is automatically captured, allowing the Connect user to retrieve stories based on the creation date. In the Connect navigation panel, stories are listed by year, then month
  • Status
    • Active - stories that can be searched and be used as part of your dispatch(es)
    • Inactive - stories that have been 'deleted' from the system. The stories are retained for future reference, and are not permanently removed from Connect
  • Recently created
    • Refers to stories that have been created in the past six months. The time period can be altered/configured as part of the deployment and implementation process

Using the Connect navigation panel, select one of the following options under Stories: type, date created, status or recently created. This results in the appropriate listing screen being displayed, as shown in the image below.

You are then able to scan through the listing screen to locate the story of interest.
