Robot Content

The Robot Content report shows the content that robots downloaded while browsing your site. Robotos are automatic web-crawling scripts, that are used by search engines to crawl web sites for information to include in their search index. The Robots report shows robots who have accessed your site and the User-Agent used to identify themselves, as well as the URIs of the content downloaded.

Clicking the + sign drills down to the robot's user agent that they used to identify themselves, then clicking again shows the URI's of the content that it downloaded. This is shown in the screenshots below.

This report can be further customised by clicking . Clicking this arrow, which corresponds to a robot, allows you to choose more views on the data or segment the data. The screenshot below shows the pop-up window when the arrow is clicked.

Data over time: This view shows a graph of the number of visits from the robot over the date range analysed. A screenshot of this view is shown below.
